| This is one of the best lamps that we have had in some time. This uniquely designed Majolica vase was mounted as a lamp around 1910 as dated on the ornate ormalu vase cap that even looks to have been originally an oil lamp. When we completely rewired the lamp in our full service lamp shop, we did not notice any distinguishing marks on the vase. The original lamp base has a nice gilded finish. The lamp measures 17” to the bottom of the shade and the entire lamp with the 16” silk shade shown stands 29” tall. The body of the vase is 7” in diameter at its widest point. There are great colors on this lamp that would be a nice addition for the advanced Majolica collector. | |||||||||
